NYSE Arca Moves to List Truth Social-Branded Bitcoin ETF
NYSE Arca has filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to list a spot Bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF) branded under Truth Social, the media platform backed by former President Donald Trump.
The proposed ETF, named the Truth Social Bitcoin ETF, would be issued by Yorkville America Digital, a digital asset manager partnered with Trump Media & Technology Group. The filing, submitted via a 19b-4 form, marks the first regulatory step required for exchange listing approval.
Custody of the fund’s bitcoin would be handled by Foris DAX Trust Company, the same custodian used by Crypto.com, according to the application.
The SEC must still approve both the exchange filing and a forthcoming S-1 registration statement from the issuer before the ETF can launch.
If cleared, the fund would bring political branding into the growing field of spot bitcoin ETFs, potentially targeting a niche investor base aligned with Truth Social’s user demographic.
