ChatGPT Predicts XRP Could Look Very Different by End of 2026

Institutional infrastructure may not attract much attention, but it can have a major impact on asset demand. A new ChatGPT AI price forecast suggests XRP could trade between $2.20 and $3.00 by the end of 2026, with $2.50 viewed as the most reasonable base-case target.

One of the key near-term developments came on August 6, when XRPL 3.3.0 introduced proposed improvements focused on atomic transactions and permission delegation.

The upgrade also includes sponsored fees and confidential token transfers. Combined, these features could increase the XRP Ledger’s appeal for institutional applications and strengthen the case behind the ChatGPT AI XRP forecast.

Ripple is also expanding the infrastructure surrounding the network. Its August investments in ZILO and Licuido are aimed at supporting tokenized asset issuance and improving collateral mobility on XRPL.

The ledger is gaining traction in lending as well. FXRP was approved as collateral for a $280 million RLUSD lending market on Morpho, representing actual integration and usage rather than simply another project announcement. Once lending protocols adopt an asset as collateral, demand can become more persistent.

The downside scenario hinges on one important level: if XRP fails to remain above $1.20, the price could retreat toward the $0.90-$1.00 range.

If the new infrastructure instead generates sustained demand for XRP, the $2.50 level could remain the most probable bullish target.

XRP Price Prediction: ChatGPT AI Sees XRPL Upgrades Driving Growth

Historical context is important before drawing overly bullish conclusions. XRP traded above $3.60 last August before entering a prolonged decline over the following year.

In October, XRP fell through $2.40 during a single trading session. By February 2026, the token had dropped as low as $1.13. The months that followed were largely uneventful, with XRP moving within a narrow range of roughly $1.30 to $1.55.

The decline resumed in June, followed by a prolonged period around $1.00 throughout July and most of August. The quiet stretch ended last week when XRP surged to $1.68 before sellers quickly pushed the price lower.

The subsequent retracement saw XRP close at $1.39, down 1.5% over 24 hours. During the session, the token traded between $1.375 and $1.40.

That decline marked the first red candle following the breakout. Immediate resistance is around $1.42, followed by the $1.58 peak and then the $1.80 level that acted as a key zone in December.

On the downside, support can be found around $1.35 and $1.31, while $1.00 remains the broader structural floor.

The chart does not display an RSI indicator, meaning momentum must be evaluated primarily through price behavior. A roughly 68% vertical rally followed by a relatively modest 2.92% retracement appears more consistent with consolidation than outright rejection.

The key factor will be where XRP establishes its next floor. If the token remains above $1.35, the breakout structure remains valid and the route toward the $2.50 target stays open.

XRP Focuses on Institutional Rails as LiquidChain Targets Cross-Chain Connectivity

The latest XRP investment thesis is increasingly centered on utility rather than speculation. The goal is to make the XRP Ledger more attractive to institutions through improvements involving transactions, collateral and tokenized assets.

LiquidChain is approaching another infrastructure challenge: digital assets remain distributed across multiple blockchain ecosystems.

Bitcoin, Ethereum and Solana each command significant liquidity, but transferring capital between these networks can require bridges, duplicated deployments, additional costs and fragmented execution. LiquidChain aims to address this by creating an execution layer that connects all three ecosystems, allowing a single deployment to operate across multiple networks instead of requiring separate versions for each chain.

The project is therefore making a broader bet on the direction of crypto infrastructure. If tokenized assets, institutional lending and decentralized finance continue to expand, seamless interoperability could become increasingly important.

LiquidChain’s current presale price stands at $0.01493, with more than $948,000 raised so far. At this early stage, changes in adoption could have a significant effect on the project’s potential valuation.
