Binance has announced that it will discontinue Binance Pool and its associated services at 07:00 UTC on November 10, 2026, bringing its Bitcoin mining operations on the platform to an end.
The exchange has instructed miners to transfer their mining equipment and redirect their hashrate to another pool before the deadline. According to the notice, any hashrate submissions or mining shares received after the cutoff will not be accepted, processed, or credited.
Meanwhile, BNB, the cryptocurrency associated with Binance and the BNB Smart Chain, was trading at around $740, down approximately 0.5% over 24 hours. Its daily trading volume stood at roughly $561 million.
Binance Pool Shutdown: Key Information for Miners
The discontinuation covers several services, including Binance Pool, Cloud Mining, Pool Savings, and Transaction Accelerator. It also affects Stratum connections, mining-pool APIs, and email and Telegram notifications.
Users are required to migrate their mining operations to another pool and close their Pool Savings accounts before the services are discontinued. Any eligible outstanding rewards or refunds will be processed according to the applicable product terms and compliance requirements.
Mining transaction records will remain available until 07:00 UTC on November 24, 2026, giving users an additional two weeks to review their historical activity after the shutdown.
However, Binance has not announced a specific timetable for automatic payouts or explained exactly how final settlements will be handled. Miners should therefore review the relevant product terms and official guidance rather than assume that outstanding balances will be distributed automatically on a particular date.
The shutdown announcement, shared by Binance through social media, described the decision as part of a broader review of its products and services. The exchange has not disclosed the specific financial or operational reasons behind the move.
Although the November 10 deadline is confirmed in the notice, the reasoning behind the closure remains unclear.
Binance Expands Other Trading Products as Mining Services End
Binance Pool launched in April 2020 and offered Bitcoin miners a Full Pay-Per-Share payment model. Its closure will end approximately six years of mining-related operations on the platform.
The decision comes as Binance continues to develop other areas of its business, although there is no evidence that these expansion efforts directly caused the mining service shutdown.
On October 12, the exchange introduced a free AI-powered market assistant following a beta program involving approximately 150,000 users. The tool is designed to provide market insights and guidance rather than execute trades autonomously.
Binance has also expanded its traditional financial market offerings through Nest Trading, which provides access to U.S. equities. The exchange has announced plans to introduce physically settled options covering more than 1,000 U.S. stocks and exchange-traded funds (ETFs).
According to The Block, Binance’s trading volume for traditional-finance perpetual futures increased from $29.5 billion in January to $433.4 billion in August. This growth highlights changes in the exchange’s product mix, but it does not establish a direct connection between its expansion and the decision to close Binance Pool.
BNB Price Faces Key Support and Resistance Levels
In separate Binance-related market developments, BNB was trading at approximately $740.27 on October 14. According to CoinGecko figures cited in the report, the token had gained around 0.5% over 24 hours but remained down 4.4% over the previous seven days.
BNB’s market capitalization stood at approximately $98.57 billion, while its daily trading volume reached roughly $555.82 million. The token remained significantly below its all-time high of $1,369.99 amid recent selling pressure.
From a technical perspective, the $736–$718 range could act as a near-term support zone. On the upside, resistance around $746 and $775 may limit a potential recovery.
A sustained move above these resistance levels could improve bullish momentum. Conversely, a break below the support zone could expose BNB to further declines.
The token’s performance will also depend on broader cryptocurrency market conditions and activity across the BNB Chain ecosystem. Greater adoption of applications and services within the network could help support demand for BNB.
However, relatively weak trading volume suggests that traders may remain cautious until stronger buying activity emerges. Bitcoin’s next major move could also influence market sentiment and help determine the direction of BNB and other cryptocurrencies.
