The integration gives institutional investors and automated trading systems access to complete political prediction-market order books ahead of the U.S. midterm elections.
DoubleZero has incorporated Kalshi’s political and election prediction markets into its low-latency data infrastructure, allowing professional and algorithmic traders to receive real-time order-book information as the midterms approach.
According to the DoubleZero Foundation, the subscription feed provides trade activity, top bids and offers, as well as aggregated market depth at different price levels. The data is distributed through DoubleZero Edge, which uses the project’s fiber-optic network to deliver market information quickly.
Access to full order-book data could make political prediction markets more valuable for trading strategies, hedging and risk management. While headline probabilities show the market’s current view of an outcome, deeper order-book information reveals available liquidity and how quickly traders are adjusting their positions when new information emerges.
DoubleZero, which is based in the Cayman Islands, operates a contributor-powered fiber network built on Solana and designed for rapid data transmission. Its infrastructure is aimed at blockchains, prediction markets and other distributed systems where speed and dependable connectivity are important.
Kalshi, meanwhile, is a federally regulated prediction-market exchange that offers event contracts based on political, economic and other real-world outcomes.
U.S. Midterms Drive Growing Prediction-Market Activity
The Nov. 3 midterm elections will decide which party controls Congress during the final two years of President Donald Trump’s term. All 435 House seats and 33 Senate seats are up for election, along with 33 Senate positions.
A Republican victory would help preserve the party’s ability to advance Trump’s legislative priorities and approve judicial and administration nominees. A Democratic majority, by contrast, could give the party greater power to block legislation, conduct congressional investigations and place additional limits on the White House.
DoubleZero co-founder Austin Federa said prediction markets are increasingly being used as real-time information sources, but their usefulness depends heavily on how quickly traders can access and respond to the data.
Federa argued that a market snapshot can become outdated almost immediately when a debate, court decision or breaking news event causes prices to shift rapidly. He said making Kalshi’s live election and political order-book information available through DoubleZero Edge allows professional traders and AI systems to consume and respond to those signals in real time.
The integration arrives as interest in prediction-market contracts tied to the midterms continues to increase.
More than $133 million had reportedly been wagered on 2026 House and Senate races across Kalshi, Polymarket and Polymarket US by Aug. 10. That figure had already exceeded the $92.4 million traded throughout the entire 2024 congressional election cycle, based on figures from the Anti-Corruption Data Collective cited by Reuters.
