GTA 6 Leak Sends CYBERLEEK Token Soaring More Than 80%
2 hours ago
Trading activity around CYBERLEEK jumped after footage allegedly showing GTA 6 spread online, while blockchain data indicates the Solana-based token had been created only days before the leak appeared.
The GTA 6 leaker operating under the name Cyberleek is generating fresh buzz despite facing growing attention from authorities and the gaming community. His latest two-minute video, titled “GTA 6 Gas Leak,” was posted to the Gaming Leaks and Rumors subreddit before being taken down.
The footage reportedly shows protagonist Jason attacking two gas station workers before fleeing in a sports car and eventually crashing it.
The clip also reveals a gas station refueling mechanic, suggesting vehicles in GTA 6 may require fuel. The process appears streamlined, with players seemingly able to activate the pump with a single button press.
The latest video surfaced as CYBERLEEK, a crypto token linked to the hacker’s branding, climbed nearly 80% overnight. The Solana token was trading around $0.023, pushing its market capitalization above $16 million, after briefly reaching approximately $0.03.
GTA 6 Gas Leak Arrives as CYBERLEEK Promises More Footage
In the leaked footage, several interaction options appear disabled, potentially because Jason already has an elevated wanted level. Viewers also pointed out what appears to be an advanced vehicle damage system.
Following the attack at the gas station, Jason reportedly jumps over the counter and attempts to rob the attendant. Police respond almost immediately, with sheriff’s deputies arriving while he is still inside.
Jason already appears to have a two-star wanted level at this stage. Earlier leaks had suggested the stolen vehicle could contain a tracking device, but he nevertheless escapes and drives toward another gas station.
He later crashes into a truck, with the collision shown in slow motion.
The video carries Cyberleek’s familiar “Show support, buy $Cyberleek” watermark and includes a promise of strip club gameplay if the token reaches a $3 million market cap. The clip ends with Jason entering a rural-looking strip club.
With CYBERLEEK’s market value climbing beyond $16 million, the hacker could now face pressure to deliver on the promised footage.
CYBERLEEK’s Timeline: From Domain to Token to GTA 6 Leak
Bitquery’s analysis found that an Arweave name matching Cyberleek’s branding was registered on August 14. The CYBERLEEK token then appeared on a Raydium trading pool on August 15 with a fully diluted valuation of roughly $55,000.
During the following 68 hours, hourly trading volume remained relatively small, ranging from about $4 to $2,500, while the token’s valuation moved between approximately $55,000 and $77,000.
Around 17:00 UTC on August 18, alleged GTA 6 gameplay footage and a game map containing QR codes directing users to Cyberleek’s website and token began circulating online.
The token subsequently jumped roughly 13 times as trading volume reached $1.47 million. Within the next hour, CYBERLEEK hit about $0.00348, with $5.47 million changing hands—the highest hourly volume recorded in Bitquery’s analysis.
By 23:00 UTC, the token’s fully diluted valuation had climbed to approximately $3.3 million. By the morning of August 21, hourly volume had dropped below $30,000 and the valuation had fallen to around $1.3 million.
Five Wallets Captured Most of the Early Gains
Bitquery’s wallet analysis showed that the five biggest profit-makers collectively earned around $158,000. All five entered the token within a six-minute period between 17:48 and 17:54 UTC on August 18, as the initial rally was unfolding.
None of those wallets could be linked to the token deployer, and Bitquery’s database did not associate them with exchanges or known entities. Their trading patterns instead resembled automated bots targeting rapidly rising tokens.
Three wallets initially appeared to have sold tokens they did not own, but further analysis indicated they were arbitrage bots moving between Raydium and Meteora liquidity pools.
Stop Killing Games, a consumer campaign whose objectives overlap with parts of the manifesto published on Cyberleek’s website, distanced itself from the group on August 19. Campaign director general Moritz Katzner also reportedly told supporters not to send donations to the group.
CYBERLEEK has yet to release a complete mission spoiler. With Netflix’s “Extended Look” trailer scheduled for August 27, attention is now turning to whether Cyberleek will release additional GTA 6 material following the latest gas station footage.
