Terraform Labs Announces March 31 Launch Date for Investor Compensation Portal.

Terraform Labs to Launch Claims Portal for Crypto Losses on March 31

Terraform Labs, the embattled company behind the infamous TerraUSD stablecoin and LUNA token, is giving investors a limited window to seek restitution. Starting March 31, a dedicated claims portal will go live, allowing affected users to submit requests for potential compensation tied to the platform’s 2022 collapse.

The filing process is part of a court-directed wind-down, managed by claims administrator Kroll. According to a recent update posted on Medium, the portal will be accessible via claims.terra.money, and investors must file by April 30, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. ET. Claims submitted after this cutoff will not be considered.

To qualify, claims must involve supported cryptocurrencies that were held during the critical period surrounding the Terra ecosystem’s meltdown. Certain tokens, such as Terra 2.0’s LUNA, and assets with minimal on-chain liquidity (less than $100) are excluded from eligibility.

Verification of ownership is required. The preferred method is to provide read-only API access from exchanges. While manual uploads like screenshots are accepted, they may face delays or risk denial due to verification challenges.

Following the submission deadline, claims will be reviewed with initial decisions expected within 90 days. Approved claims will be paid out proportionally once processing is complete.

The Terra collapse in 2022 wiped out tens of billions in market value virtually overnight, shaking the foundations of the crypto market and leading to Terraform Labs’ eventual bankruptcy. This claims process is one of the final steps in addressing the damage left in its wake.
