Strategy, the largest corporate Bitcoin holder, has added 4,020 BTC to its portfolio at a cost of roughly $427 million, increasing its total Bitcoin holdings to 580,250 coins, the company reported.
The recent purchase was financed through three ongoing at-the-market (ATM) equity programs, according to a company statement.
Between May 19 and May 25, Strategy raised capital by selling 847,000 shares of its common stock (MSTR) for $348.7 million, alongside 678,970 shares of STRK preferred stock for $67.9 million and 104,423 shares of STRF preferred stock for $10.4 million.
These ATM offerings, with a combined authorization nearing $45 billion, support Strategy’s sustained effort to accumulate Bitcoin.
The average acquisition price for this batch of Bitcoin was $106,237 per coin. Overall, Strategy’s total Bitcoin investment now stands at about $40.61 billion, with an average price per Bitcoin of $69,979.
