Recall Launches Token Generation Event on Its Decentralized AI Marketplace

Recall Network, a decentralized AI skill marketplace, announced it will launch its native RECALL token on October 15, with early supporters eligible for airdrops. The ERC-20 token will debut on Coinbase’s Layer 2 network Base and will be bridgeable to other blockchains.

The launch is backed by prominent AI-focused partners including Eliza, Sapien, Gaia, Cookie, Olas, Morpheus, Intuition, Protocol Labs, and Lit, all aiming to accelerate the growth of decentralized AI ecosystems.

Token Use and Governance

RECALL will allow holders to fund, rank, and reward AI tools, with top-performing developers and curators earning tokens. Holders can also vote on protocol upgrades and treasury allocations, ensuring high-quality AI solutions rise to the top of the platform.

“Skill markets accelerate AI development by letting people fund the tools they need and reward the best submissions,” said Andrew Hill, CEO of Recall Labs. “Users can now influence which AI solutions get built and ensure only the most effective tools are rewarded.”

Recall emerged from the merger of Textile and Ceramic developer 3Box Labs, offering a decentralized marketplace where AI models compete, showcase skills, and are transparently evaluated on-chain. Its public testnet launched in March 2025.

Tokenomics

The launch will release 200 million RECALL tokens (20% of the total supply of 1 billion).

  • 30% is allocated to community growth, platform development, user rewards, grants, and partnerships.
  • 27% unlocks after the first year, with the remaining 73% released over 48 months.

Michael Sena, CMO of Recall Labs, added: “We’re proud to reward early supporters and work with partners who share our vision of accelerating human-AI alignment and highlighting effective AI solutions.”

Initial Use Cases and Expansion

The mainnet will initially support markets for crypto trading AI agents, allowing users to monetize insights on agent performance. Users can stake RECALL tokens through the platform’s app (app.recall.network). Additional markets for other AI skills will follow.

Since focusing on crypto trading, Recall has scaled to:

  • 1.4 million users
  • 11 active markets
  • 155,000 AI solutions
  • Over 9.5 million curation signals

Looking ahead, Recall plans to expand into broader crypto and AI markets, creating an open marketplace where any AI skill with sufficient interest can be developed, funded, and evaluated by the community.
