Michael Saylor’s Strategy Adds 6,220 BTC, Taking Total Holdings to 607,770 Coins Worth $72 Billion
Michael Saylor’s Strategy boosted its Bitcoin holdings by 6,220 BTC in the week ending July 20, raising its total stash to 607,770 coins. The recent purchases were made at an average price of $118,940 per Bitcoin, totaling about $740 million.
At current market prices just above $118,000, the company’s Bitcoin assets are valued at approximately $72 billion. These coins were originally acquired at an average cost of $71,756 each, with a total acquisition cost of $43.6 billion.
The latest Bitcoin buy was funded largely through the sale of $736.4 million in common stock, alongside $4 million raised from sales of the company’s preferred stock offerings.
Following these developments, shares of Strategy rose 1.9% in premarket trading.
