Chainlink’s LINK Rises Amid DigiFT, UBS Tokenization Pilot in Hong Kong

Version 1 – Market-Oriented Recap

Chainlink’s LINK Rises as DigiFT, UBS Push Fund Tokenization in Hong Kong

Chainlink, DigiFT, and UBS have received approval under Hong Kong’s Cyberport Blockchain and Digital Asset Pilot Subsidy Scheme to develop automated systems for tokenized financial products.

LINK, Chainlink’s native token, advanced 2.5% to cross $24 after the announcement. The initiative will use smart contracts to handle order placement, settlement, and fund lifecycle management—tasks that are currently slowed by manual paperwork.

The process involves investors submitting orders for UBS tokenized funds via DigiFT’s regulated distributor smart contracts, with Chainlink’s Digital Transfer Agent handling onchain recording and triggering issuance or redemption.

Separately, Chainlink extended its interoperability offerings by bringing its Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) to the Aptos blockchain.

Technically, LINK has gained more than 20% since mid-August, establishing strong support near $23.60 and outperforming the CoinDesk 20, which rose 1.5% in the same period.

Version 2 – Innovation & Infrastructure Focus

Hong Kong Greenlights Chainlink, DigiFT, UBS Tokenization Pilot

A new partnership between Chainlink, DigiFT, and UBS has secured approval in Hong Kong to modernize tokenized fund infrastructure. Backed by the Cyberport Blockchain and Digital Asset Pilot Subsidy Scheme, the project will automate distribution, settlement, and management of tokenized products through smart contracts.

The model envisions investors accessing UBS’s tokenized offerings through DigiFT’s regulated contracts, while Chainlink’s Digital Transfer Agent framework records transactions and manages fund issuance or redemption directly onchain.

LINK responded positively, rising 2.5% to above $24. The move adds to a broader recovery, with technical indicators pointing to strong support at $23.60.

In a separate development, Chainlink launched its CCIP on the Aptos blockchain, broadening enterprise-grade interoperability solutions for DeFi and corporate finance.
