Bitcoin ETFs Pull In Nearly $1B, Marking 9th-Largest Inflow on Record

Spot bitcoin ETFs saw a sharp pickup in demand Monday as bitcoin climbed to its highest level since January.

Bitcoin Bitcoin was trading around $85,990.84 as U.S.-listed spot ETFs recorded inflows at levels comparable to periods when the cryptocurrency was approaching record highs.

The funds attracted a combined net $998.95 million on Monday, according to SoSoValue data. It was the strongest single-day inflow since Oct. 6, 2025, when bitcoin reached an all-time high of approximately $126,200.

Monday also marked the ninth-largest daily inflow since spot bitcoin ETFs began trading in the U.S. on Jan. 11, 2024. BlackRock’s IBIT led the group with $381.37 million, while Ark’s ARKB recorded $289.12 million and Fidelity’s FBTC brought in $238.84 million.

The latest inflow extended ETF gains to three consecutive sessions, the first such streak in two weeks. The renewed buying comes shortly after bitcoin faced pressure from two major developments: the Senate’s failed cloture vote on the CLARITY Act and a Federal Reserve interest-rate increase.

September’s cumulative ETF inflows have now reached $1.31 billion, following $3.52 billion of net inflows in August. The figures point to continued institutional demand even as concerns over the broader macroeconomic backdrop, including rising fiscal debt among developed economies, remain elevated.

Bitcoin has gained 44% during the current quarter to around $85,000, putting it ahead of other major assets, including gold.

Still, the ETF picture remains mixed on a year-to-date basis. Despite the recent recovery in flows, spot bitcoin ETFs remain $450 million lower for the year so far.
