Binance Pool Shutdown Forces Crypto Miners to Update Endpoints

Binance will shut down Binance Pool and its associated mining services at 07:00 UTC on November 10, 2026. Once the deadline passes, mining connections will be disabled, and any shares submitted afterward will be rejected. To prevent disruptions to their Bitcoin mining operations, miners must switch their equipment to a different pool before the shutdown.

The exchange explained that the decision follows its ongoing assessment of its products and services. The closure brings an end to an operation that has been running for more than six years, although Binance did not disclose a specific reason for discontinuing the service.

At 07:00 UTC on November 10, Binance will terminate mining connections and deactivate its Mining Pool Stratum URLs and other mining endpoints. Any hashrate submissions or mining shares received after the deadline will not be accepted, processed, or credited to users.

The shutdown will affect more than the main mining pool. Binance will also discontinue Pool Savings, Cloud Mining, and Transaction Accelerator, along with mining pool APIs, Telegram hashrate notifications, and email alerts. After the cutoff, these services will no longer provide new rewards, yields, or other benefits.

For miners, the immediate requirement is to change their pool endpoints rather than shut down their hardware. Binance has not recommended a replacement mining provider or disclosed the pool’s current hashrate, the number of affected customers, or how much computing power may migrate to other platforms.

Binance Pool’s Final Rewards and Settlements Remain Subject to Conditions

Mining shares eligible under Binance Pool’s rules and submitted before 07:00 UTC on November 10 will be included in the final reward calculation. This means submissions completed before the deadline will remain subject to the platform’s existing reward calculation procedures.

Binance stated that eligible outstanding rewards, account balances, refunds, and settlements may still be processed after the services have been discontinued. However, these payments will depend on the applicable product terms, account status, risk management measures, compliance reviews, and relevant laws. The announcement does not specify a universal payout date or guarantee payment of every outstanding balance.

The exchange will remove Binance Pool links from its homepage on November 10. Users with active Pool Savings positions are advised to unsubscribe from the service or redeem their positions before the shutdown. Account holders should also verify that their accounts are properly configured to receive any remaining eligible funds.

Before 07:00 UTC on November 10, miners should disconnect their equipment from Binance Pool and update their configurations to connect to another mining pool. Machines that continue using Binance’s disabled endpoints will no longer be able to submit mining work through the service after the deadline.

Users are also encouraged to complete any necessary identity verification and other account requirements by 23:59 UTC on November 10 to help ensure the timely processing of eligible rewards, refunds, and settlements. This later administrative deadline does not extend access to mining services beyond the 07:00 UTC cutoff.

Binance Pool’s webpages will remain available for 14 days after the shutdown, until 07:00 UTC on November 24. During this period, users may access historical information, account records, and payout status where those details remain available.
