Metaplanet’s Bitcoin Holdings Hit 2,100 BTC After Latest $6.6M Acquisition
Metaplanet (3350) has strengthened its Bitcoin position, now holding 2,100 BTC—equivalent to 0.01% of the total 21 million BTC supply. The company recently purchased 68.59 BTC for $6.6 million at an average price of $96,335 per bitcoin.
Analyst Dylan Le Clair reported that Metaplanet has raised $20 million in equity capital in just the first two trading days of its “21 Million Plan.” The company has also announced a 10-for-1 stock split set for April 1, following a 1-for-10 reverse split just eight months ago.
Metaplanet’s stock has reacted positively, rising over 1% in today’s trading, with shares now valued at 6,260 JPY.
