Truth Social is set to become the first social media platform to feature built-in, regulated prediction markets.
Trump Media & Technology Group (NASDAQ: DJT) announced Tuesday that it will launch “Truth Predict”, a new prediction market integrated directly into Truth Social, through a partnership with Crypto.com’s U.S.-registered derivatives arm.
The new feature will allow users to bet on real-world outcomes — from U.S. elections and Federal Reserve policy decisions to sports and commodities — using Crypto.com’s CFTC-regulated exchange infrastructure.
Trump Media shares rose 4.4% in premarket trading, while Crypto.com’s CRO token gained nearly 5% over the past 24 hours following the news.
“Truth Predict will empower users to turn free speech into actionable foresight,” said Trump Media CEO Devin Nunes, adding that the company aims to blend financial tools with community engagement. Trump Media recently reported over $3 billion in assets and its first quarter of positive cash flow since going public.
Beta testing for Truth Predict will begin soon, with plans to reward active users through “Truth Gems,” in-app loyalty points that can be converted into CRO tokens for use in prediction contracts.
Crypto.com CEO Kris Marszalek said the collaboration represents “the next evolution of social interaction — merging expression, data, and markets.”
The initial rollout will focus on the U.S., with international expansion to follow regulatory approval. Trump Media also hinted at broader crypto ambitions, including a CRO-based treasury product tied to its pending SPAC merger with Yorkville Acquisition Corp.
By entering the on-chain prediction space, Truth Predict will compete with established players such as Polymarket and Kalshi, both of which have seen strong institutional growth this year.
