Cathie Wood’s Ark Invest Adds $30.9M in Block Shares Across Three ETFs
Cathie Wood’s Ark Invest has boosted its position in Jack Dorsey’s fintech firm Block Inc. (XYZ), purchasing $30.9 million worth of shares on Monday.
According to Ark’s daily trade disclosure, the firm bought 385,585 shares distributed across three of its exchange-traded funds: ARK Innovation (ARKK), ARK Next Generation Internet (ARKW), and ARK Fintech Innovation (ARKF).
Block’s shares were largely unchanged in premarket trading Tuesday.
The fintech company, led by Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey, continues to expand its bitcoin (BTC $111,280.77) initiatives. Its Square business recently launched new tools enabling small merchants to accept bitcoin payments, reinforcing Dorsey’s vision of broader crypto adoption.
