World Liberty Financial to Unveil Debit Card and Retail App, Partners with Bithumb
SEOUL — World Liberty Financial plans to launch a debit card and retail application “very soon,” co-founder Zak Folkman said during Korea Blockchain Week 2025.
The products aim to integrate the project’s USD1 stablecoin into daily payments, with Apple Pay support expected. The retail app will combine peer-to-peer transfers with trading functions, positioning it as a centerpiece of the firm’s consumer push.
Separately, World Liberty announced a memorandum of understanding with South Korea’s Bithumb to explore collaboration opportunities, though details remain unspecified.
